Luna
Luna is a 4+ year old (DOB 6/28/21) female Shih Tzu mix. Luna has earned the nick name "Chubs" since she is currently on a diet and bounces around like a ball. Luna is a very sweet and affectionate little dog who loves to spend time with people. She loves cuddling up on a lap and is very friendly. She gets along well with other small dogs, however can be possessive of her person. Luna had her health check up on 5/15/26 at which time it was noted that she had a Grade III heart murmur. She is not symptomatic at this time, however will be seeing the cardiologist in order to work up the best plan for her. She also has a history of bladder stones which were surgically removed prior to coming to CJCR. She is on prescription food and her urine and x-ray were both clear. Luna is scheduled for a spay and
dental on 6/2/26, at which time she will also have her CBC re-checked due to her blood work indicating slight anemia. Luna is a delightful and loving little dog who is going to make a wonderful companion to the right home. If you are interested in adopting Luna, please complete the application.
