​We work hard to match every dog with the right forever home by considering both the dog’s needs and the adopter’s lifestyle and expectations. Many of our dogs have already experienced multiple transitions from homes, shelters, commercial breeding facilities, or life as a stray. Finding their true final home is incredibly important.
Our adoption process includes an application, a phone interview, meeting dogs in foster care, a home visit, and reference checks. We do adopt out of state, though transportation can sometimes be challenging. When we believe a family is the perfect fit, we use every resource available to safely get the dog to their new home.
Our goal is simple: a happy, thriving match for both the adopter and the dog.
Adoption Fees
Puppies 8 weeks to 12 months: $500.00
Young Dogs 1 year to 3 years: $425.00
Dogs 3 years to 5 years: $350.00
Dog's 5 years to 7 years: $275.00
Dog's 8 years to 10 years with no known or minor health issues: $200.00
Senior or Special Needs dog's with major health issues: $100.00 - $200.00.

Why Adoption Fees?
Before adoption, every dog in our rescue receives comprehensive veterinary care. This includes a full physical exam, spay/neuter, microchipping, complete blood work, chest X‑rays, and core vaccinations such as rabies and leptospirosis. Dental cleanings or extractions are performed when needed.

Many of our dogs arrive with additional medical needs such as patella issues, eye conditions, heart concerns, or other ailments that require specialized treatment or surgery. We ensure that every dog receives all necessary care to give them the healthiest possible future.
On average, we invest between $1,500 and $2,000 in medical care for each dog, and many exceed that amount. We believe in full transparency, and adopters receive a complete medical history for their dog, including all associated costs.
