The Colorado Japanese Chin Rescue is a group of 100% unpaid volunteers dedicated to rehabilitating and re-homing Japanese Chins. We are licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Department of Agriculture (PACFA) and are a 501(c)3 IRS Charitable Organization.

Our dogs are never kept in a kennel or shelter environment. Instead, they are kept in our foster homes and treated like members of our families until we are able to find them their own special people.

All our dogs are given a thorough health examination by a licensed veterinarian.  Each is treated for any known illness, spay/neutered, brought current on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. Dental work is done when needed.

We frequently receive dogs who require surgeries or extra ordinary vet care. We make sure each dog gets whatever they need regardless of cost and we work closely with our  amazing veteranarian and many specialist to provide them with the best care. After surgery, our dogs are given plenty of time in foster care to recuperate before going to their forever homes.
