My name is Ginger and I am a sweet but shy little gal who came into rescue on 2/11/19.  I had my spay, dental with 1 extraction, hernia repair and some mammary tumors removed on 2/22/19.  My biopsies came back benign.  I can be a very loving companion once I have bonded, however it takes me a long time to bond with my person.  I cannot be an only dog as we have tried two different homes and I completely shut down and won't eat.  I really need to be adopted with my friend Grace.  We have been together our whole lives and do well together.  It would be best if Grace and I are the only animals in the home.  I can be aggressive with other dog's and we don't know how I would be with cats.  I have done well in my foster home and am a loving and affectionate companion once I bond, however this can take a very long time and I am looking for an adult home with no children or other pets for myself and partner Grace.  My foster parents are home most of the time but when they do need to go somewhere they have to crate Grace and I since we cannot be trusted to be nice to the other dogs in the home.  As you can see I am cute as a bug and would really like to find a calm and quiet home with a person who is willing to be patient and slow with Grace and I.
